With an upsurge in sales, as a direct result of winning the contract to supply vent heads for the 2 new aircraft carriers, commissioned by the government in 2009, Skinner Marine Services have increased their workforce and created a new position heading up the administration department.
After extensive interviews, the perfect candidate was selected and Gaynor Thomson was appointed as Administration Manager. Gaynor has had many years’ experience in administration management working with Northumbria Police in a civilian role. Her skills have proved to be invaluable in successfully co coordinating, supplies and deliveries in relation to all customers, as well as demonstrating great communication and people skills.
Many of our customers and suppliers have commented on how much easier it is to do business with us, now we have Gaynor to rely upon. This has allowed the principles of the business to concentrate more on developing new business, adding new product ranges to the existing portfolio of products as well as researching new markets
