Vent Heads

Winteb v.o.f. is the world's largest producer of seawater resistant aluminium (DIN1725) air pipe heads.

Winteb has produced these air pipe heads since 1985, starting with the WIKO5000 series and have now developed the WIN2000 air pipe head series which sets the standard in air venting. The WIN2000 range is also produced in seawater resistant aluminium.

The advantages of seawater resistant aluminium over our competitors' ranges which use cast-iron, welded hot dipped iron/steel constructions or stainless steel, is that aluminium (DIN1725) will not corrode, requires no maintenance and offers huge weight savings which also helps to make the vessel that is fitted with them more fuel efficient.
In addition, the WIN2000 series has a space and weight saving design that is revolutionary compared to other Air Pipe Heads.

The space saving design will allow you to place the air pipe heads in areas where the larger competitor brands could not be fitted.

Because of its volumetric design, protected by international patent, the WIN2000 range achieves an average higher volumetric flow than other brands, particularly in the larger Winteb Vent Heads.

The WIN2000 series uses an O-ring sealed retaining ring, which, together with the PE ball provides the best possible leakage protection.


The new WIN2000 series is available in 3 types:

1. Type 1 "Normal" The type 1 is suitable for ballast tanks and similar applications.

2. Type 1-B "Anti splash water type", with its larger splash water shield, this is recommended for Fuel/Oil tanks.

3. Type 1-B with small flange connection. This is similar to the Type 1-B but has been specifically designed in conjunction with the 'Damen Shipyards Group' for use on their, and similarly specified small flange vessels.
